Objective

Perform the blast simulation of Defense Vehicle by providing blast velocity at the floor panel to study the response of the vehicle.

 

Methodology

  • Virtual modeling of Armed Vehicle in FEA package
  • Velocity profile applied at blast location  
  • Interfaces are created to capture the effect of contact between the parts
  • Radioss used for explicit analysis
  • Deflection stress, Velocity, Accelerations at Vehicle pillars are calculated
